INGREDIENTS:

STEPS:

  • For the Mini Rolls:

    1. In a bowl, combine lukewarm milk, yeast, sugar, salt, egg, and softened butter. Mix well.

    2. Gradually add flour and knead until smooth. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

    3. Roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick and brush with melted butter.

    4. Cut the dough into equal parts and fold each piece. Place on a baking tray, cover, and let rise for 60 minutes.

    5. Brush the risen rolls with milk and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

    6. Once baked, top the rolls with a mixture of honey and butter.

  • For the Spicy Chicken:

    1. Marinate the chicken cubes in pickle juice, honey, water, and hot sauce for at least 2 hours.

    2. In a bowl, mix flour, breadcrumbs, powdered sugar, chili powder, and creole seasoning.

    3. Dredge the marinated chicken pieces in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well coated. Let them rest.

    4. Heat olive oil in a skillet to 350°F. Fry the chicken until crispy and golden brown.

    5. Remove the fried chicken from the skillet and let drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

    6. To assemble, place the fried chicken pieces on the prepared mini rolls.
